Colm makes film debut in "Steve Jobs"

Colm had tons of fun on the set of the Universal Studios's  critically acclaimed "Steve Jobs" , directed by Danny Boyle and writted by Aaron Sorkin.  Starting as a glorified extra with a violin quickly morphed into something quite different when Colm was given a speaking role for scenes covering the launch of the NeXt computer.  Make sure not to blink when you view it!

The fun continues with some fun Oscar parties in LA - the film received Academy Award nominations for Best Male Actor (Michael Fassbender) and Best Supporting Actress (Kate Winslet), having already won Golden Globe awards for Best Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin) and Best Supporting Actress (Kate Winslet).

What's Next? Colm composes for Modern Dance

November saw Colm composing new music for "What's Next?", an exciting collaboration  with LA-based modern dance company "Donna Sternberg & Dancers", Suzanne Lummis (the noir queen of LA poetry) and Sri Lankan writer, Pireeni Sundaralingam.   A wonderfully ambitious project across multiple art forms - dance, poetry and music - with talent to match was received with standing ovations by 2 packed-out performances at the Ivy Substation in Culver City.  The show may play at other venues and US cities soon.
